Hale and True + BBQ at South Philly Smökhaus - August 31st: If you love smoked meats and cider, then make your way over to the South Philly Smökhaus, where Hale and True Cidery will set up shop to make all your barbecue and cider dreams come true. 

Made in America Music Festival - August 31st to September 1st: It's not really Labor Day until we have Jay-Z performing on the Parkway. Running for the 7th straight year, the Made in America Music Festival will include acts this year such as Lizzo, Cardi B, Travis Scott, James Blake and more! 

Labor Day Fireworks at Sesame Place - September 1st: Looking for a place to take your favorite kiddos? Sesame Place is ready and waiting to entertain guests tall and small, with all day festivities that will end at 8 with a Neighborhood Street Parade and a fireworks show that is sure to delight the entire family.  

Labor Day Weekend Fireworks and Fountain Show at Longwood Gardens - Sunday, September 1st: For those looking to take in gorgeous botanical gardens, gorgeous water fountain shows and finally a spectacular fireworks show, then Longwood Gardens is the place to be this Labor Day weekend! The show's fountains and lights will be choreographed with music from Footloose, The Greatest Showman, Slumdog Millionaire and more. Don't miss out! 

Waterfront Day on the Delaware River Waterfront - August 31st: Entering its third year, The Spirit of Philadelphia and other Delaware Rive waterfront attractions come together to offer Waterfront Day, a celebration that includes a pop up rooftop beer garden, live entertainment and other exciting activities and attractions along the waterfront, finishing with a fabulous fireworks display. 

Urban X-pressions Rooftop Throwback Party at TGI Fridays on the Parkway - August 31st: TGI Fridays may not be the first place you think of when it comes to a happening rooftop party, but the TGI Fridays on the Parkway is here to prove you wrong. Wear your best track suit and other throwback attire (no, really, the event organizers encourage guests to do so) and head on down to the Ben Franklin Parkway to hang out and get down with some hip-hop and R&B from the '70s, '80s and '90s.
