In the City of Brotherly love it’s not hard to find a romantic stop to celebrate the holiday with your loved one! So you’re not quite sure where to take that special someone this year & review sites aren’t giving you enough information? We’ve taken on the task of visiting all the most charming restaurants throughout the city to clue you in on where to go & what to enjoy!

Bibou: Located between the heart of the Italian Market & Queen Village this quaint French BYOB is the perfect hideaway to enjoy a 7-course pre-fixe tasting menu by candlelight. The menu changes weekly, so chances are the decadent foods we tried during our visit have since been replaced with fresh and seasonal fares. Reservations are scarce so be sure to plan ahead as there are only a

We still have our decorations out, so we won’t judge if you do too and chances are, tons of  storage containers are on sale since they’re no longer in such high demand. So now that it’s time for us holiday elves to clean up (finally); here are a few of our favorite organizational containers for not only making it easy to put the lights and garlands away, but next season a breeze to get out the next time holiday season rolls around!

First up, the artificial tree, of course we threw out the box it came in...why would we keep it? Oh right - to store the tree after the season! Well if you’re like us, we recommend grabbing this great roller bag from the newsletter. It’s lightweight and it’s on wheels - making it even easier to get around the house, or out

Are you a big history buff and love to get in the spirit for President’s Day? We’ve compiled a great list of spots to check out today & anytime you feel like diving into the history of the city and the nation!

  1. Independence National Historical Park: One of the only National Parks located in the heart of a city, this is a great stop to see it all. Our recommendation is to make the first stop the Independence Visitor Center to help plan your visit with the staff & you purchase all your tickets there too!

  2. President’s House Site: The entrance to the Liberty Bell Center starts with the President’s House Site which is free of charge & outside so you can stop by without having to worry about meeting the hours of operation. This is a

Never been to Hungry Pigeon, there’s no excuse since this top restaurant is virtually open all day long. Week days starting at 7am with breakfast until 11am, then a lunch menu until 2:30pm, followed by “after school” fare and finishing out with dinner beginning at 5pm daily.

The wait is finally over, Clubhouse is opening this Friday...just 2 more days! There’s been quite a buzz around what is coming to one of Philly’s most prominent areas of the city & we could not be more excited to have chatted with the marketing team at Clubhouse to get the inside scoop!

First, we had to know exactly when we were able to get in there and see what this was all about. We had heard the end of January & they have delivered with opening day coming this Friday, doors open at 11:30am! For those not familiar with exactly where to head this Friday to check it out, head toward Nordstrom Rack in Center City on S. 17th Street & look across the street! The newest sports lounge is

Eagles NFC Championship: Fly, Eagles Fly on the Road to Victory! Speaking of Road to Victory, the #RoadToVictory bus is out and about this weekend leading up to the big game! Only 2 more sleeps until the game of all games, the deciding factor on whether the Eagles are in Super Bowl 52 or not. If you’re lucky enough to be headed to the Linc to cheer on our birds, bear in mind there will be added security and rowdier fans than our game against the Bears, so get there early & be ready to get loud! There are so many places around the city showing the game, check out our full round up and suggestions here and remember...Go Birds!

Xfinity: The perfect place to watch the game after a day of tailgating! No Uber, no subway, just a quick walk from all of the parking lots...but be ready for one of the longest lines of your life just to get in. That being said, once you’re inside you are among hundreds of other Eagles fans looking for a huge win plus there are ALWAY game day specials to keep you full & warm all game long!

Chickie’s & Pete’s: Another South Philly favorite and although a longer walk than Xfinity, you can still enjoy a fun time at the tailgate before venturing up to Chickie’s & Pete’s to watch the game. They just hosted Fox29 News for a pep rally this morning and if that’s the atmosphere without a huge game, we can only imagine what it will be like come Sunday around

If so, we want you to be well prepared with the best spots to warm up with a drink around the city. In case we’re not so lucky, save these for another cold day this winter!

The Dandelion: You’re immediately drawn in just by the exterior; covered with plants & located on the corner of Sansom & 18th Streets. Step in the front door and if you’re not instantly hooked by the cozy lounge and fireplace chances are this list isn’t for you! Come early to snag the coveted couch by the warm fire & enjoy a proper afternoon tea including both sweet and savory options!
